20 October 2005 - Congratulations to Gary and Gemma on the birth of their second daughter! Go to the excellent official website for more details and images etc in the near future! Here in AshleyX land we're so pleased for them - we're expecting our own second child a few months time - likely another boy, so there's a couple of potential suitors for the Webb girls in twenty years time or so!!!! - hee hee. Just to say that we're very happy for them all and wish them well for their new future.
And on the subject of a new future, the Jagged Halo album launch on March 18th is indeed a promise of a new future. A great event is in store, almost unprecedented for us Numan fans. Never before have we attended a concert where we only knew a few songs - that's the die-hard fans I mean. Now we get to see what it's like for the casual attendee of Numan concerts - i.e. the new converts who go along knowing perhaps one or two tracks. Now we'll all be in the same boat and a great voyage of discovery and exhiliaration it will be... Me? I can't wait for that concert - I'm not sure I want to hear the album beforehand even. Now that's going to interesting - I'm sure I won't be able to resist listening to it beforehand if it's out in time - but should I? Is it best to have a listen or two to get the feel of it so that the concert can enrichen the songs, or should I let the songs be hear first time in concert then I have the album to go back to later on...? Hmmm...
