Hi there again! Now what's happening I hear you cry? Well, I added some content on the 15th and 16th but magically today it has gone. My provider had a hardware error and the content was lost, and so I shall attempt to summarise what was lost...
Suffice to say the concert was EXCELLENT - good to hear Haunted again - the better of the two new tracks played on the 11th. I also got to meet Raven briefly before the event, and what a little charmer she is! Thanks also to Tracey a longtime friend of AshleyX-Numan who sent me a scan of the playlist for Shepherd's Bush. It seems that those of you in northern climes the night before were denied 'Cars' for 'Ancients' and heard 'Fadeout 1930' - is this true? Certainly I'd have preferred not to hear Cars in favour of Ancients but (a) it was a good rendition, and (b) the concert was being filmed and so it was perhaps required to assist DVD sales... I took a shedload (if you have a small shed) of pics and some of them (perhaps a dozen) may be here very soon (assuming the content stays this time!!).
10 Sep '04 - Hi there peeps.
It's the day before the next concert and I'm wondering one thing... - how can Gary possibly improve upon the last concerts earlier this year? If you asked me to name my favourite Numan tracks I would say he played them all back in March. Let's hope there's a dvd or audio soon! I'm also looking forward to the aftershow event (who isn't?) so all in all this weekend should be something rather special. All I have done in preparation is reheard the three small clips of Haunted, Jagged and Does God Bleed and hope they are played again; perhaps with something new. Too much listening to Gary's music the few days before a concert is a bad thing in my mind - it's a personal thing - I like to starve myself of the music for a while beforehand - it seems to improve the experience on the night! - perhaps you prepare in other ways... Good luck Gary for the two nights!!!
