The Daily Routine

How many of us are driven by ritual, routine. How many of us make that rule our lives in a negative way?

Well, before you all go and get depressed, I was thinking of the rituals we all perform as Numan fans. Positive rituals...

• There's the checking of the NuWorld website for news.
• The frantic hunt for a videotape at 5 to 10 on a Monday night.
• The checking in the Numan section of a record store whenever we're in one.
• The regular scanning of 'Hello', 'OK Magazine' and 'Oh look at my lovely house' in case Mr & Mrs N are featured.
• and the hardest of all.... deciding which CDs to select and stuff into a coat pocket for the CD walkman (or car, depending on how we get to work). Trains can be missed whilst performing this delicate act!

Now I'm sure there are many other rituals we all perform - I'd like to hear yours... Send me an email and we can compile these strange behaviours and build up a psychological profile of a Numanoid.......!!!

(Good grief - this is the price you'll all have to pay now that the AshleyX website can be updated whilst I'm at work and happen to have a funny five minutes!)

the ashleyx numan site is cobbled together using php, bits of old string and some woodglue; it's declared purpose is to entertain the ever-increasing band of Gary Numan fans - all photographic illusions on this site have been taken by the "Mysterious" (ha) Ashley X himself using common-or-garden kit dating way back to 2005 and in some cases... earlier - and all textual waffle is from the own fair brain of said Mr X dating back to 1996 in some cases (look and see how this man has simply not progressed in a decade)
